A few months ago the GAMAKNA came out, bringing with it a load of tasty tidbits and a calendar for the first part of the WAKFU year announcing an upcoming server merge between Nox, Phaeris and Remington. No date were given and now it’s time to talk about it.

At the start of the year we announced a server merge for Nox, Phaeris and Remington. You all had a lot of questions about how you will be able to preserve your game experience, guilds, Haven Worlds, etc.

We mention this today because we have new information to share. We understand why this announcement has surprised the community and we are treating the issue very seriously. We try our hardest to satisfy everyone and have been looking carefully at all of the issues involved, which is the reason why we are postponing the merge to the end of the year. This is going to give the team more time to find the very best solutions.

The decision to postpone the merge is based on the concerns you expressed in our forums: What will happen to our Haven World? Our guilds? The server economy? Our equipment? We have gathered all of your questions and requests and passed them on to the team. We also know about the abusive player killing (PK) issue and we will work to find solutions. We are aware that problems exist and we realize how important they are.

We want to remind you that all official information and decisions are published exclusively on our official website. We ask you not to share false information or unfounded rumors, which only lead to firing up more controversy on this subject. Thanks everyone.

On this subject, we can confirm right now that you will not lose your game experience: your characters, your nicknames, your guilds, your Haven Worlds, your equipment, your kamas etc. So you can continue to play with your friends without a care because you will keep all your game experience.

And since good news loves company, postponing the server merge also allows us to prioritize Zinit and releasing new content to give you a richer game experience. In fact, it means we will be able to release the different parts of Zinit earlier and offer you content from level 45 to 200 in the very near future!
